BLOGS

I say - don't boggle your mind with "blogs", the mysterious, new communication tool on the internet for individuals and businesses.  It has been around for a couple of years, but still kind of new.  It's catching on.  A "blog" is a "web-log".  It goes a little beyond the purpose of a website.  Whereas a website is a more formal tool used for a number of reasons, usually to advertise something or someone, a blog is an up-to-date, to-the-minute, informal and open-ended discussion of what's up with you or your business.  I have linked to an article that explains in-depth the notions and uses of a blog.  I have a blog.  And they're free.  Most of them.   The stripped-down models.  I can set-up your blog, or you can do it yourself.  It may take a little patience.  I do not have this service listed on my price list.  It is something that would be negotiated when the need arises.

I have discovered in my recent study of web-development journals and articles, that blogs are becoming quite the hot marketing tool - for up-to-date presenting of information to your customers, for free search engine optimization and coming up on web searches; so you can save the fees for being listed as being "searchable" on search engines.  What can be done is:  your company's website can be one of the links on the blog, and you can promote it there as well.  A blog is and can be a marketing tool for your website, if you have one.  And that's where I come in.
